Description of Project:

The objective of the ML-Images proposal is to develop a system that will allow the search, in a textual based on annotations, of digitised images that are in remote and geographical databases. These belong to content providers, and they are annotated based on keywords in a specific language (native). ML-Images! will offer the mechanism to search and explore the images in a multilingual (French, Italian, English, Greek, German and Spanish) way. Additionally, it will provide transparently to the user, personalisation of the search, based on profiling and distribution of images in a way that will guarantee IPR related matters, supporting high security mechanism. Finally, it will offer a gateway for e-Commerce, so that if the user desires to perform e-Commerce actions and functionality. Overall, ML-Photo! will be a platform in line with the EU related to new economy, digital content and promotion of e-Commerce and teleworking policies and objectives
