Description of Project:

This project "Studies and Actions Service Support of the Act" refers to a set of studies and activities aimed at supporting the National Documentation Centre (EKT) for effective planning and implementation / application of new services developed under the Act "National Information System for Research & Technology / Social Networks - Content generated by users."
The object of the project is broken down into three Components:

1st Component: Strategic Planning for Effective mapping of long-term targeting.
The component, which includes strategic planning, will focus on four main areas of activity of the organization (digital libraries, e-publishing, digital repositories, other activities / actions), through the development of the following of Consulting services:
1) Study to determine the digital library services;
2) Study for the expansion of e-publishing services;
3) Study for the operation of digital repositories;
4) Study to identify new services relative to ESF’s activities (existing or under development).

2nd Component: Strategic & Operational Planning.
The Contractor will prepare a detailed business plan, which will refine the proposed Strategy, specifying the required operational resources, optimal structure and operational mode.
The core modules covering the operational plan are:
1) Draft Institutional Adjustments;
2) Draft Operational Development;
3) Draft Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), Organization re-structuring, and Transition to the new Operational Plan;
4) Draft Development Plan for Information Technology Systems and required interventions;
5) Human Resource Development Plan;
6) Financial Plan;
7) Implementation Plan.

3rd Component: On-site technical support services to the implementation and application of new business modeling, includes the following:
1) Development and implementation of new business proposals;
2) Review of Business Plan.
Beneficiaries of the project are the research and educational communities, business community, public government, and the general public.
