The project concerns consulting services to the Municipality of Messini in order to construct a waste management facility and avoid fines. The overall objective of the current contract is further refined in its specific purpose as follows: Assist the Municipality to choose the correct property for the establishment of the construction considering technical and environmental criteria. Carry out the procedures needed for the acquisition of the property. Technical assistance for the design and the equipment used in the waste management unit. Support and consult the Municipality in finding and claiming the financial resources needed for the completion of the project. Preparation of legal documentation for the Prosecutor of the Court of Justice, in order to prevent the imposition of a daily fine. |

Services Provided: |
In situ examination of the available properties for the establishment of the waste treatment facility with technical and environmental Criteria set by Directive 2008/98 / EC and 2011/92 / EC. Study of the National Laws concerning environmental permitting. Defining procedures for the acquisition of the property. Studies / authorizations for the operation of the waste treatment unit. Technical assistance for the design of the selected system in order to meet the requirements of Directive 2008/98 / EC and minimize costs for the Municipality. Define the equipment and method used for the facility. Assistance to the Municipality to find and claim the necessary financial resources for the project implementation. Assistance to the Municipality to avoid fines. Preparation of legal documentation for the Prosecutor of the Court of Justice, with evidence of actions undertaken by the Municipality for the temporary management of waste in order to prevent the imposition of a daily fine.
