Description of Project:

 

The objective of the “Smart Manufacturing” action is to accelerate the industrial transition by digitizing operational and production functions, aiming to increase the competitiveness of businesses and create a resilient industry. This will be accomplished through the digital upgrade of very small, small, and medium-sized industrial enterprises with high-tech production equipment and industrial digital skills.

The promotion and adoption of high technologies by leading beneficiaries and manufacturers will stimulate the creation of new markets and the promotion of existing ones. The investment aims to achieve the continuous transformation of industrial enterprises, following best practices as proposed in the Industry 4.0 model.

The action aims to upgrade the production equipment and infrastructure of small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the eligible industry sectors of the initiative, providing financial support for investments in smart manufacturing and artificial intelligence systems, which will lead to improvements in productivity and competitiveness in manufacturing and the enhancement of quality job positions.

Services Provided:

 

 The object of the contract is the provision of support and consultancy services for the design and monitoring of the implementation of the “Smart Manufacturing” action, both before and during the proposal submission stage and the evaluation.

Specifically, the services to be provided by the Consultant relate to the following key work units:
A. Support services for the Implementing Bodies in the assessment, approval of each funding proposal, monitoring, management, implementation, and completion of the Action.
B. Support for the input of data into information systems.
C. Fulfillment of all electronic monitoring requirements arising from the Recovery and Resilience Facility Coordination Agency (RRFA).
