Description of Project:

The overall objective of the Project is to offer support to MLFEO and RIBs in the implementation of the grant schemes that promote Active Employment Measures and Life Long Learning for the qualification and requalification of the work force, a process achieved by offering the necessary information and ensuring a transparent, competitive and effective process, for the evaluation of the submitted applications. The project also aims to strengthen the capacity of MLFEO , RIBs and project promoters, in implementing and monitoring projects financed within this program.


Activities undertaken:

  • Implementing informing activities to support potential project promoters regarding the application drafting and submission for application submitted within the grant schemes for Active Employment Measures and Life Long Learning for the qualification and requalification of the work force.
  • Provision of necessary information for preparing projects
  • Organising and delivering training sessions for the members of Regional Assessment Committees that will be nominated for both grant schemes
  • Evaluation and selection of applications submitted for the call for proposals for projects promoting Active Employment Measures and Life Long Learning for the qualification and requalification of the work force.
  • Support in monitoring the grant scheme promoting Active Employment Measures and Life Long Learning for the qualification and requalification of the work force.

  • Strengthening of capacity of regional structures for the monitoring, control and assessment of activities
  • Elaboration of the Applicant's guide
  • Elaboration of training materials and methodology for the evaluation of Grant schemes
  • Implementation of informing activities at regional level
  • Training for all the evaluation regional committees established within the grant scheme
  • Evaluation of all the applications submitted within the grant schemes
  • Organization of a final Conference for 60 persons
  • Establishment of 8 help-desks for both grant schemes
  • Assistance at work place ensured for the regional RIBs
  • Recommendations for the improvement of Monitoring Manual
