Description of Project:

The main goal of the project was the support of the integrated interventionist actions against unemployment in the county of Grevena through the provision of the following services:

  • study of the socio-economic environment
  • specialised planning for operation on the base of the local requirements
  • formulation of specific plans for reinsertion of the unemployed in the labour market on the basis of principles of an individualized approach
  • insertion of the unemployed into occupational services of the OAED
  • further training of staff of the social organisms involved in the implementation of the integrated intervention
  • awareness, information and mobilization of the local community against the unemployment
  • reinforcement and support of the occupational services of the OAED
  • follow-up and evaluation of the totality of the interventionist operations

  • Analysis of the socio-economic environment and the local needs,
  • Registration of unpemployed persons and local enterprises
  • Specific planning for reinsertion of the unemployed,
  • Design of the vocational training actions according to the labour market needs
  • Staff training,
