Project overall objective:
Contribute to improve living conditions of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, upgrading and expanding of VET delivery, modernisation of counselling and placement services, reinforcement of Palestinian students' access to higher education.
Specific activities:
- Support 5 VET providers in upgrading and expanding VET provision in selected vocational occupations.
- Support the modernisation and extension of VET providers' capacities to provide adequate training to Palestinian students.
- Improving management, organisation and skills of staff and instructors, modernising training equipment, providing materials.
- Upgrade of courses through design and implementation of new curricula, training instructors and managers.
- Development of partnerships with local community.
- Internal management of VET providers for improving effectiveness and efficiency.
- Counselling, career guidance and placement services.
- Support the networking of the concerned providers in order to improve the overall efficiency of the vocational training delivery
