Description of Project:

Tutor-ring is a European Project, funded under the European Union Leonardo da Vinci programme. The main objective of the project is to improve the quality of transnational sandwich courses in vocational training (i.e. vocational training organised in the form of periods in a school/training center of a European country as well as other periods in a company into another European country). The project aims to improve the knowledge of the people dealing with transnational sandwich course training - tutors, trainers and trainees - about the different cultures of companies and the realities of professional life in other European countries.

Services Provided:
  • A training module for tutors on European sandwich course training (an online module in the shape of interactive case studies, intended mainly for in-company tutors )
  • A database for European sandwich course training (a network collaborative learning and work tool aimed at everyone involved into transnational sandwich course training )
  • A communication multimedia platform as a supplementary tool to facilitate the preparation, the follow-up and the joint evaluation of sandwich course training.
