Description of Project:

The general objective of this study is to assist the Greek SMEs to adopt the necessary measures and actions in order to successfully respond to the challenges of internationalisation. The specific objective of this study is to identify and assess the degree of internationalization of Greek SMEs, as well as the impact on their functioning and competitiveness. In addition, the study has examined 9 case studies of SMEs and has proposed solutions for the ways of organizing, operating and developing SMEs in order for them to successfully respond to the demands of the international market.

Services Provided:

  • Drafting of a Guide for the Internationalisation of SMEs.
  • Identification of nine (9) case studies of successful Greek SMEs that have been successfully internationalised.
  • Presentation of the current situation in the Internationalisation of the Greek and European SMEs
  • Design of policies to strengthen the dissemination with the support of the media
  • Overview of international and domestic literature for concepts and theories of internationalisation.
