Description of Project:

The aim of the project is to formulate a strategy for the effective support of the entrepreneurship of local SMEs in the region of Zhytomyr, through the provision of business training, networking with similar Ukrainian and European organisations, and integration of the existing business incubation services of the Zhytomyr Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZCIC) into a unique business incubator The main target group of the current project are the new or potential entrepreneurs in Zhytomyr in the SMEs sector who are in need of Business Incubation Services.

The main activities of project can be grouped into three broad categories:

  • Promotion of transfer of know-how and strengthening the managerial skills of the local SMEs via the provision of Business training
  • Examination of the possibility to integrate the existing Business Incubation Services of ZCIC to a Physical Business Incubator in order to better promote SMEs activities and to create the appropriate conditions for their future development
