Description of Project:

The aim of the project is to prepare a survey in the 12 statistical regions and present a feasibility study for possible business zones locations in Slovenia, as well as the definition of projects for how to plan new business zones.

The main targets of the project will be reached by the following methodological approaches:

• Analysis of the existing business zones activities (quantitative and qualitative) in Slovenia

• Comparing of this experience with the «state-of-the-art» instruments of business zones especially with best-practice-examples in Ireland, Austria and one of the candidate countries i.e. Czech Republic, Hungary

• Definition of the actual and future needs of the companies concerning business zones on regional level

• Definition of the active marketing instruments and tools to attract investments to the specific selected business zones locations

• Provision of Technical Assistance to the National Agency of Regional Development and the Ministry of Economy
