Description of Project:
|
Pilot project realised in four member states of the European Union (GR, E, IRL, UK), under a unified methodology proposed by Enterprise Ireland, with the participation of 60 SMEs. The project objective was the raising of awareness in the design and monitoring of support schemes promoting Innovation Management Techniques. European Profiles implemented the project in Greece, where 15 SMEs (manufacturing sector) were selected to participate following a call for expression of interest. The selected SMEs were assisted to acquire in-house competence to successfully identify areas where gaps and opportunities lie and where innovation could be introduced. The participating SMEs were provided with a structured framework programme to address gaps and opportunities, to review progress on-site and to ensure the best application in the Innovation Management Techniques. The results were evaluated and representative case studies were selected (one in each country) and were included in a CD ROM multimedia presentation. At the end of project a conference was organised in Athens and a publication was made for the dissemination of project results. |
