Description of Project:

The overall objective of the project is to re-establish Research, Technology, Development and Innovation (RTDI) in BiH as an essential part of the functioning of its economy and for promoting a vibrant Science, Research, Development and Innovation culture and institutions in the interest of growth and development.

The purpose of the project is to o assist and advice the Ministry of Civil Affairs (MoCA), entity Ministers responsible for Science and Technology, and other institutions to secure the right internal and external mechanisms, knowledge, institutions and capacity building, skills and people to drive the wider agenda for Science, Research, Development and Innovation in the Service of Socio-Economic Development in the BiH and to ensure the establishment of its comparative advantage in the Regional, European and Global Stage"

Activities which must be undertaken:

• Mobilising stakeholders and conducting assessments and baseline analysis of the current Research, Technology, Development and Innovation (RTDI) system and the role of the Ministry of Civil Affairs (MOCA) and the other key stakeholders (entities, etc.)
• Designing and implementing the foundation and the solutions for the coordination and governance of the RTDI policy
• Preparing and implementing the foundations for the appropriate institutional design and organisational structure of MOCA
• Defining and designing an efficient information intelligence system and clear options for the knowledge management system of MOCA
• Capacity building and training activities for MOCA
