Description of Project:

The global objective of the project is to assess national macroeconomic and strategic framework of Ukraine and to provide a medium term outlook


The specific objectives of the project are the following:

  • To assess consolidate progress in macro-economic stabilisation and growth policy in Ukraine
  • To assess progress in introducing effective employment creation and poverty reduction measures
  • To assess level of social cohesion
  • To provide conditional projections of future trends of key macroeconomic variables in order to have a clear and predictable picture (to what extent is possible) of development of an Ukrainian economy in consideration of a gradual moving towards a Sector Wide Approach


The activities of this project involves carrying out studies, analyses and reports covering the following issues:

  • Presentation of basic information, highlighting problems and incorporating analysis of the problems and suggestions for changes
  • Detailed Sectoral Case Studies providing the underlying source material for the analysis
  • Estimation of the potential effects of the of regulatory reforms (medium term and long run);
  • Assessments of the future trends of key macroeconomic variables (mid-term forecast).

Services Provided:
