Description of Project:

The Greek Ministry for Development receives every year applications for grants of enterprises, mainly from SMEs, for business and investment plans, within the framework of the Greek Development Law.

In order to approve the proposals, the Ministry for Development assigns to consulting firms -selected after strict criteria of capability and professionalism- the evaluation of the incoming proposals.

The evaluation procedure includes a financial evaluation of the company according to various economic indicators, an estimation of its future financial position after the implementation of the investment depending on the specific market development forecasting for examining the viability of the venture, an evaluation of the technological aspects of the required equipment, an overview of the internal organisation and the capabilities of the human factor, etc.

The evaluation process includes also on site visits to each company in order to examine the provided in the application figures describing production and operation process, state of equipment and financial situation.
